Dr. Morénike Giwa Onaiwu, PhD, BCCS
Dr. Morénike Giwa Onaiwu, PhD is a board certified cognitive specialist and participatory researcher engaged in global health, human rights, and disability endeavors across various disciplines. Dr. Giwa Onaiwu is the Founder and Principal Operator of Advocacy Without Borders, a nonprofit which provides support, strategies, and skills for individuals with disabilities, primarily those who are neurodivergent, and their families. Dr. Giwa Onaiwu serves on the federal autism advisory committee and is a highly sought after consultant with numerous publications who has presented at the White House, the United Nations, and numerous international conferences.

Uloma (Mercy) Chiakwelu
Uloma (Mercy) Chiakwelu, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a dedicated Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and Wound Care Specialist, committed to providing expert wound care through her practice, CR Mobile Wound Care LLC. With a focus on chronic wound management, diabetic foot ulcers, and pressure ulcers, Mercy brings compassionate, high-quality care directly to patients’ doorsteps. Her mission is to educate, empower, and enhance the quality of life for those in need of specialized wound care.
Heidi Hoarau, M.S., LPC, CCTP-II, CGP
Heidi Hoarau is a licensed professional counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional who specializes in supporting adults facing intense emotions, such as anxiety, depression, and anger, often linked to unresolved trauma. Using trauma-informed methods like Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems, and somatic awareness, she helps clients reconnect with their inner resilience and process difficult experiences. Heidi holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of St. Thomas in Houston and brings a unique perspective from her prior engineering career. Bilingual in English and French and serving as a board member of the Houston LPC Association, Heidi provides a culturally sensitive approach, grounded in empathy and personal growth.
Afiyah Dunbar, MA, CCC-SLP
Afiyah Dunbar is a board-certified speech pathologist and the founder of Bright Speech, an outpatient therapy practice in Sugar Land, TX. With 17 years of experience, Afiyah specializes in managing communication and swallowing disorders in adults, from young adults to geriatrics. Her approach is personalized, goal-focused, and rooted in the latest research to ensure functional improvements for each patient. Known for creating an uplifting and supportive therapy environment, Afiyah celebrates every victory with her patients, big or small.
Outside of her professional role, Afiyah enjoys family walks in Houston’s green spaces, baking from scratch with her daughters, and starting each day with a strong, black tea—cream and sugar, please!

Michael Moss, DNP, FNP-BC
Michael is the Founder and Lead Provider of Apex 7 Testosterone Men’s Health, driven by a passion for individualized care and a commitment to enhancing men’s health. After earning his nursing degree and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), he spent over two decades in emergency medicine, where he learned the importance of empathy and understanding each patient’s unique needs. Following his own cancer diagnosis, Michael opened Apex 7 in 2024, focusing on holistic health care for men navigating hormonal disorders and other challenges often overlooked in traditional healthcare. He believes in a partnership approach to healthcare, combining evidence-based practices with compassionate, personalized care. Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his family and exploring nature, striving to create a supportive community where men can take charge of their health with confidence.
