Dorothy Colon, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years of healthcare experience. She began her career in emergency medicine in 2007, became a Registered Nurse in 2010, and has been board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2016.

Her extensive clinical background includes emergency medicine, primary care, urgent care, and endocrinology. As the founder of Rare Kare, she provides comprehensive primary care with a focus on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, diabetes, thyroid disorders, hormone health, and medical weight management.

She is dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalized care with an emphasis on patient education and empowering individuals to better understand and manage their health.
